Not all wins are equal, and your ratings should know that

A win-loss record treats beating the best team the same as beating the last-place team. Elo doesn't. It's a tried and tested formula, the same family of ratings FIFA uses to rank national teams, that produces an accurate, precise measurement of relative skill by factoring in the strength of every opponent you face.

In RecHero, Elo isn't a novelty stat: it powers the league. Ratings drive skill-matched scheduling, feed standings if you want them to, and give every team a number that means something: fair, universal, and impossible to argue with after week three. It even makes leagues possible that couldn't exist before: because ratings stay fair no matter who plays whom, your schedule doesn't have to be rigid.

  • A fair, universal points system: one number, comparable across the league
  • Tried and tested formula, trusted by FIFA and used worldwide for decades
  • Accurate, precise measurement of relative skill level
  • Strength of opponent factors in: beating the champs counts for more
  • Powers skill-matched scheduling for close, competitive games
  • Enables flexible-schedule and drop-in league formats
  • Configurable K-factors and margins: tune it to your sport
